Universal Control between two Macbooks

I logged in to my girlfriends macbook air M1 as a new user to try the "Universal Control" with My macbook air M1. Both are with the latest Software Update. But the Universal Control doesn't seems to work. Any one have a work around for this?

MacBook Air (2020 or later)

You may have used her computer with a new user account, but did you also sign into your iCloud account in that user account? This is part of the requirements of Universal Control.
