I have an A1432 Ipad...I think 1st Gen running 9.3.5 IOS.....I'm wanting to use it as an e-reader for pdfs only...but can't sync with my mac because the software is old and a lot of the new 3rd party apps won't work either. How do I get my pdfs from my computer to my ipad? Any other apps folks know about? Thanks

Thankyou...also discovered I can airdrop the pdfs to my ipad (a bit tedious, but it works) and then choose to open them via some options already on my vintage ipad...kindle, books, and another pdf reader.
there are various readers which support accessing media from ftp, or various cloud account and what have you not
