Podcast totally desynchronised between iPhone, iPad, MacOS

Hello

Once again, with the new update 15.4, like with previous updates,

1. podcasts that were previously "read" suddenly turn "unread"
2. syncing across mac, iPhone, iPad is broken, and hard to re establish
3. when you have a library with 10s of "shows", it's a nightmare
4. it would be pleasant if apple could focus more on podcast app, which I'm sure is an essential feature among users ... it's frustrating to have to loose all podcasts at each major release

I'm posting here, not to complain, but I hope someone could have a REAL fix :)
