I see the orange round light above the bars when I am making a call. It just started to appear yesterday, and I am trying to figure out which app is causing it. I just went into settings and shut off microphone use for almost all the apps that had access. Is there a way to tell which app may have been recording when I was making calls?
The Phone app uses the microphone when you are making a call.
I don't know why you wouldn't have seen it before yesterday -- the orange light should appear every time you are making or receiving a phone call.

The orange means your microphone is active. You stated that it happened when you were making a call. Calls use the microphone so the orange status appeared.
Thank you. I am surprised I haven't noticed it. I was getting a lot of failed calls yesterday when trying to place calls and that's when I noticed it. Thanks again for taking the time to respond :)
