I can't figure out how things get decided and put on the frequently visited section. I could be on a website once and it would show up, could be a website I haven't been on in months and it would also be there. I hate it because its so tedious to go delete them all because some mornings i wake up and theres suddenly 10 of them

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! In addition to most visited, the Frequently Visited will also show recently visited websites. You can customize the start page in Safari to remove the feature that may help:
