I need help

why when i go to settings and on to safari section frequently visited DOESNT come up??? I’m on Iphone XR please help me it’s been annoying bc i press delete on the website that i want to delete from frequently visited but then it just comes straight back please help

frequently visited sites delete - iOS 15.6 I used to delete some of my frequently visited sites but after iOS 15.6, I can delete URLs, but after closing and reopening safari the deleted URLs appears again. I completely wiped the phone (13 pro max) and restored the backup and issue remain the same. by the way, favorites tab works fine, I can modify it and commits the modifications unlike frequently visited tab... do you have any solution to fix "frequently visited tab" other than resetting the phone, or deleting safari history?

Safari Frequently Visited On my iPhones safari, the frequently visited tab keeps showing the same few sites I visited once a few months ago. And deleting them doesn’t do anything. The only site I frequently visit is gmail and sometimes that’s not even there

Frequently Visited Sites will not stay deleted, so what’s the point of even building a ‘delete’ feature? I keep getting the same 4 sites popping up on my frequently visited, no matter how many times I delete them. I have read the suggestion that I just disable the feature, but that’s a poor suggestion bc A) the feature was useful when it was accurate and displayed sites I actually visited, and B) there’s a delete function built in where you can select the site and ostensibly delete it, it just doesn’t actually work. If I can delete a site and I never navigate to it anymore, why does it come back? Why include a delete function that doesn’t actually work?

Are you saying that you turned frequently visited off and it turns back on or a website you frequent will not stay deleted from the list? Have you thought about turning "frequently visited" off (Open Safari and on the blank home page it should have an edit option towards the bottom.
