problem converting png to pdf

I just got the 16 in MacBook Pro, and When I am using preview I am having trouble successfully converting my PNG documents (specifically ones that are multiple pages) to PDF documents. I do it no problem on my 2 year old MacBook Pro but when I try on the new one it changes all the pages to duplicates of page 1.. idk what to do. please help me.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.0

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities.

PNG files cannot have multiple pages. The files you are referring to may already be in a PDF format.
