You need the printer's installation app if one is needed. The Canon website has them.

Hi,

There are at least three different Canon 3010 printers. Which exact model do you have?

Canon imageCLASS MF3010?

Mac drivers from Canon (up to macOS 12.1). Windows and Linux drivers also available.

Canon PIXMA MG3010?

https://www.cla.canon.com/cla/en/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/photo_all_in_one_inkjet_printers/pixma_mg3010#

Mac drivers from Canon up to macOS 11 (and 12). Windows and Linux drivers also available.

Canon PIXMA G3010?

Mac not supported. Windows and Linux drivers available.

No later download than for macOS 12.2.1 appears to be available at this time. This does not necessarily mean that it cannot be used with a later operating system version. It may or may not work. If it does not work, you may have to wait for Canon to post an updated driver. Did you try the download with your 12.3.1?

Anyway, as always, make sure that you have (multiple) backup copies of all important files (documents, photos, et cetera) before testing anything. Software conflicts and data loss can never be ruled out.
