My Face ID works only occasionally since upgrading my iPhone software to 15.4

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 15

To rule out a software issue, set your phone back to factory settings, using your computer.

Then set it up manually, without using the backup see if you can use FaceID as before the iOS update.

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

If it works again, restore from the latest backup to get all your data and settings back.

They replaced one of the facial recognition cameras and tested it and returned to me within 4hrs all under warranty.

Thanks for the response,

After attempting all the standard Apple requirements for this fault.

My 4 month old iPhone 13 Pro is now in for attention, it seems from what the Tech mentioned it is a somewhat a possible known fault with one of the cameras going off line.

Lets see what happens.
