Focus location not working

Read the old post here and i did all the steps. Still not working. When i search any location nothing comes up. So i cant add a location. Any insight on this issue?

Hey Davinhd,

Sounds like you're having an issue with searching locations on your iPhone. To clarify, is this occurring on Apple Maps or within another app? Do you have location services enabled on your iPhone? You can check by going to Settings > Privacy > Location Services. For more info on doing so, check out: Turn Location Services and GPS on or off on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Also, we're not seeing what post you're referring to, so perhaps some further details on your issue and the steps you've taken to this point would help us out.

Keep us posted on what you find out and we'll go from there.

Welcome back to Apple Support Communities!

Please make sure you've taken these steps to report the Maps issue to us directly:

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

To report an issue, or edit your home or work address, follow these steps:

1. Tap your image near the Search bar.

2. Tap Reports.

3. Choose the issue and follow the onscreen instructions.

You can also report an issue by scrolling down the main Maps screen and tapping Report an Issue at the bottom of the screen.

To add a missing place, follow these steps:

1. Tap your image near the Search bar.

2. Tap Reports

3. Tap Add to Maps, then enter a location and follow the onscreen instructions.

To allow Apple to contact you with questions about a reported issue on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > Maps, scroll to the bottom of the screen and turn on Follow up by Email. Maps uses the email address on your Apple ID account.

Here is the old post i speaking of. Focus Location Automation does not work - Apple Community

it wont search addresses even though apple map location is wrong and i have reported daily at this point.

also added the address in my contact which worked for focus location but either still doesn't work or apple location being wrong keeps it from working.

i have been trying to fix the map issue as its a city services and the community may use apple maps to locate police, fire or EMS

hope that clears up what my issue is.

To clarify the situation a bit further, are you reporting that there is an error with an Apple Map and a specific location is incorrect? If so, that could definitely cause an issue with the Focus location automations.

Can you tell us more about the specific location that is showing as incorrect on the map? Is this a business or a residence? How exactly have you been reporting that?
