iPad reset

I have a new iPad and wanted to give the old one to a family member. I went to Settings hit "Erase All Content and Settings" on the old iPad. I want set it up with a new ID but when setting it back up, it is requesting my AppleID to continue. I can't see how to get around this.

Giving old iPad away to new user and getting my Apple ID off completely I have an old iPad Air 12 . I erased it completely and and took it off my iCloud on my cell but it is not letting my sister add any apps . What are we doing wrong? Apple will not help my sister because they said my Apple ID is still tied to the account
