Audio dropouts in playback of recorded programs
When I play back programs previously recorded from YouTubeTV I get audio dropouts. Sometimes they happen frequently, sometimes not at all. Video goes on as normal but audio drops out for a couple seconds. Sometimes there is a video flicker accompanying the audio dropout but not always.
Recently, I discovered that if I run the recording back to before the dropout and replay it, the dropout is gone. The segment is completely normal. So, this is not a networking (reception) problem or a playback problem caused by the flash drive, but rather a problem in the playing back itself. That would have to be a software problem, would it not? Hopefully, something fixable by Apple with an update?
Do others have this problem? It seems as though there would be nothing I could do on my end, but perhaps there is some setting somewhere that would affect this? Suggestions?
