Iphone 13 Pro Max Screen Repeatedly Goes Black

The screen on my iphone goes black for about a second before turning back on. The app that was open remains open and the phone seems as if no time is passed. It happens repeatedly roughly every 3-7 second for long periods of time. When I restart my phone It temporarily stops for about 10 min to an hour before it occurs again. I have had this phone for about 2 months and I bought it brand new. What can I do to fix it.
