Contributors here have absolutely no insight into Apple’s product development or release programmes - and can offer no information at all concerning potential future release of this feature for iPadOS.

If you wish to ask Apple, then you can use the Get Support link at the top of the page to contact Apple Support. But do not be surprised if they do not provide you with a definitive answer.
