10.5” iPad Pro stuck in headphone mode after months of being a paper weight

So my iPad Pro 10.5” died 6 months ago. Wouldn’t turn on and Apple couldn’t even connect to it at the store. I threw it in a drawer until the other day I tried charging it and boom! It works.

Problem: it’s stuck in headphone mode. It’s been reset multiple times. OS is up to date. Headphone jack has been cleaned multiple times and multiple ways. Bluetooth headphones were used. Headphones were plugged in and out 500 times. Nothing works.

Anything else I can do and/or can an Apple Store do something that doesn’t cost a lot? I actually want to sell it but would like it to be working.

Hi there PixelPusher515,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. Based on the steps you've already gone through, the best option would be to take your iPad to a nearby service location for additional inspection.

For help with finding nearby service provided, check out this link here: Find Locations - Apple

We hope that's able to help.

Take care.
