My Mac Studio Ultra wakes from sleep on its own an average of about every ten minutes. The problem is I have a external hard drive connected via thunderbolt and its puts a lot of unnecessary wear on it.
Pretty sure it is a problem with OS 12.3

disable PowerNap features.
There is nothing to disable Powernap features on this machine. Already checked. I also of course disabled wake on LAN.
Already checked in Energy Saver. No option for it on Mac Studio.
The article says for Monterey, and I presume that's what it is running.

I have the same issue. After calling support team at Apple, they told me that it was a known issue with the Studio and their developers are working on a fix.

It’s icloud pinging your Mac for the location, you can turn off the location service and see if that helps
Thanks for the tip. Will try. I have wake for network access turned off so I would not think it would. Will test and see.
Have you tried unchecking the "Wake for network access" option under power settings?

Guys, Apple published Mac Studio Sleep only consume 1.7W. So, the 10W is consider as idle-display on mode which is wrong. I hope Apple can quickly solve this..
