How can I delete my Garage Band app that came with my MacBook Pro late 2011 (17")

Hi all, Happy Friday, When I purchased this MacBook Pro in late 2011 it came with apps. Every single day I get asked Do you want to update the apps, it's always the same app, my Garage Band 6.0.5 and it can NOT be updated. I am using MAC OS 10.13.6 which will not allow me to go any higher. As I don't use the Garage Band and every time I try to open it I must Force Quit, how can I just Delete it from this?
