Microphone Damage

Can an iPad/iPhone microphone get damaged if device is left in loud environments. (They have always on listening for “Hey Siri” on).

Microphone not working IPhone 7 I bought this phone off a friend and the microphone does not work. I heard that’s common for that to happen for the 7 and 7 plus after the IOS. 11.3 update. Do you guys still replace them for free?

ios14 dropping microphone on XR Has anyone heard anything new on the issue with ios14 which disables microphones? Its on the net and even in Apple communities but I haven't figured out how to post in that thread. My understanding is that Apple hasn't yet confirmed the issue but posts suggest they are working on it. Apple has asked me to upload files. I wish I could go back to the safety of ios13. LOL Lucky number 13.
