Paramount+ Error Code 5

I recently downloaded paramount + and there’s been a few issues.


  1. When I initially subscribed for paramount + through the App Store, it auto generated a random email address that is tied to the account. I cannot sign in on any other device due to this reason. I can only sign on through my iPhone with Face ID. Is there a way to change this? The Paramount Plus support hasn’t been helpful since they can’t see my Apple ID as part of the account.
  2. Recently, I got a “fatal error” message while trying to view media. After some WiFi connectivity troubleshooting. I tried signing out of the app to see if that helped. But now I get the API error 5 code in the image below. I’ve tried deleting the app and redownloading But the error persists.

If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated!

To clarify, what happens when you select the option, Restore Purchase? Do you receive the same error message? To ensure that we're covering all of our bases, we suggest competing the following steps:
