Apple Watch series 3

Hi I wanted to purchase a Apple Watch to take out running with me for music so I wouldn’t have to carry phone , is this feature available on series 3, thank you

You would need Bluetooth headphones to connect to the Watch, and if you have a GPS only Watch, you will need to download music to the Watch, since you would not be able to stream if you do not get a cellular version of the Watch.

Yes it is available on the series 3, however I have the GPS/cellular version and I can leave my phone. I’ve never had just a gps version of an Apple Watch. So I cannot answer for that Version.
