Apple watch

Hii,

if i bought a apple watch series 3, can i leave my iphone at home or in the car when i go for shopping or do something quick? And when i go for a run can i listen to spotify trough my watch or i need to take my phone with me ??

Unless you have the cellular version of the watch then you need to have your phone with you.
