Text Message stating Unusual activity on my apple account

I just received a text reporting unusual activity on my apple account. And my account would be closed if I don’t respond via the link provided. Strange text address, Not something I would trust and I didn’t click on the link. Of course. My only concern is I had just lost my wallet and my cc cards in my wallet as well. If I loose my apple account I won’t be able to use my Apple Pay until I get my new cards.

I reported the text to apple as junk or to my service provider. Did I do enough’

Apple will never send you a text message. This is a scam message trying to obtain your Apple ID credentials. Just delete it. Reporting it to Apple is exactly what you needed to do.
