Lost my files from iCloud

I saved everything on my iCloud before i restore my Macbook.

In the relocated items folder it only shows this pdf file (see the attached below)

How can I recover some of my files?

H Chotika893,

We'll be happy to see how we can help with locating these files. It may be a matter of permissions needing to be updated.

The article, If a Relocated Items folder appears on your Mac after upgrading macOS says:

When you upgrade your Mac, your files and data are carefully reviewed to ensure they’re valid and authorized, undamaged, and in the correct locations. If any of your files couldn’t be moved to their new locations, they’re placed in a Relocated Items folder.

You can find the Relocated Items folder in the Shared folder within the Users folder. An alias to the folder is placed on your Mac desktop—double-click the folder to open it. The PDF document in the Relocated Items folder explains what to do with files placed in this folder.

We hope this is helpful, but if you still need help with the files, reach back out to us.

Take care!
