iPad Mini boot loop fixed (I think)

I have spent several days fussing with my iPad Mini trying to cure the "boot loop" problem.

Several times I updated, restored, loaded from backup, ....

Finally I thought that loading a backup might be re-loading whatever was causing the boot loop.

This time I updated, restored but DID NOT load a backup. The boot loop problem was gone and so was the very long boot time I had. I then reinstalled my email accounts (don't ask) and one at a time re-installed from the App Store the apps I felt I really needed. After each app installed I shut down and re-booted the iPad to see that the boot loop was still gone. So far so good.
