Nurse fobs

How can I get my Apple Watch (series 6) to receive notifications when it’s on a nurse fob (attached to my uniform)? Is it possible even? I’ve turned off the passcode. It still monitors steps etc but it doesn’t receive notifications of calls, texts or WhatsApp messages. My phone is locked and in my pocket with Bluetooth on as it is when it’s on my wrist.

Many thanks in advance

You need the wrist detection feature of the watch and by not wearing the watch,wrist detection is inoperable;

You can turn Wrist detection off but there is a downside;

Turning off wrist detection affects these Apple Watch features:

When you use Apple Pay on your Apple Watch, you’ll be prompted to enter your passcode when you double-click the side button to authorize the payment.

Some Activity measurements are unavailable.

Heart rate tracking and notifications are turned off.

Apple Watch will no longer automatically lock and unlock.

Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Series 4 and later won't automatically make an emergency call even after it has detected a hard impact fall.
