Focus breathing FCP X solution?

So I saw this here in the community within another post, and no one was able to answer it including several people who did try we're completely answering a different issue.

For those that shoot videography it is more apparent if you use certain manufactures lenses. I have the full line of Rokinon DS and DSX Cinema lenses from 16mm up to 135mm and they "focus breathe" a lot.

Rokinon makes very nice sharp manual focus lenses but that is the "compromise" for their pricing is specifically their lens breathing.

Breathing in lenses means if I focus on something close and then adjust my focus (or more commonly known as rack focusing) to another object (say another actor) further away it will make the scene look like it was zooming in at the same time when you recompose your shot.

There are different reasons you do, and don't want that to happen in many situations and primarily it's not optimal when you shoot because you have to "compensate" for the frame becoming closer or further away.

OK so now that I have asked the question and explained what it is that is the "issue" can anyone suggest a solution within FCP X to help resolve it?

Thanks!

Well here is the thing...

One of the new Sony Cameras (A7IV) actually has a menu setting called "Breathing Comp" that takes care of it. It does crop your scene so you have to essentially make sure that you have composed and framed everything properly (a little bit wider) so you don't cut something out.

Apparently in Resolve you can correct it and here is a link to a YouTube video showing how to do it. He starts talking at about 00:58 of how to accomplish it.

I have been searching a lot about this, and I am not finding how you can "compensate" without possibly having to either purchase more expensive lenses or if you have to put the camera on a dolly and while you are focusing move towards the subject. Then again that completely destroys doing a rack focus when you are static?

Honestly I don't see why FCP X wouldn't be able to do this also if it is in relation to "stabilization"?
