Ring tone starts loud then gets low
When my phone first rings the ringtone is very loud, which is what I want. Why does it become very soft after the first ring?

When my phone first rings the ringtone is very loud, which is what I want. Why does it become very soft after the first ring?
Because it can see your face in the FaceID camera.
If you want that to stop go to
Settings, Accessibility, Face ID & Attention and turn off Attention Aware features.
