Choose Application (window name) - "Where is [...]?" (prompt)

Just in the past few days I've been getting pop-up window a couple times a day (see screen shot). And I'm not 100% sure what's prompting this, other than I recently installed the "Freedom" (v.2.8) app from the App Store, which is website and app blocker on my MacBook Air (I am running OS Monterey), and I've also been playing around with some new Shortcuts (but I don't think this is connected to the Shortcuts I've been using).

If anyone has advice on how to resolve this issue, I'd appreciate any insights!

With gratitude,

Pardon the obvious question, but when that window appears, does a program name appear in the Mac's menu bar? Click the window first to make sure it's frontmost.

You could try uninstalling that app to determine if the nags disappear. Just drag it to the Trash. You can always download it again — click your account to show purchased apps.
