My deleted photo from camera roll didn’t delete instead I still see it and my phone memory is full yet iCloud storage isn’t. What do I do

My iPhone memory is full, yet I tried deleting some pictures and videos from my camera roll but still find it there. I’m frustrated and don’t know what to do

How have the photos been added to your iPhone? Photos that have been synced from a computer with iTunes or on a Mac from the Finder cannot be deleted directly on the iPhone. You have to sync again to replace tor erase the synced photos.

Photos you have taken on the device or saved to the camera roll can be deleted, but if you are doing it while viewing an album, hitting the Trash button will just remove them from the album but does not delete them from the device. To delete while viewing an album, select the photos, then tap the trash icon and select "Delete", not remove from album.
