imessage text from myself with spam/phishing link?

I got a message from myself (if that makes sense). I will frequently text myself links and stuff by copy-pasting from my iMac to my iPhone using iMessage. On my iPhone, it shows up as a text from myself. Today saw a text notification and checked it and it was a message from myself, and there was weird message that said (paraphrasing) 'You paid your cell bill this month' and then a link. I did a link preview and it showed a weird website in a language I didn't recognize. So its a spam/phishing link- whatever. But how did it get sent from me, to me- the message was inserted into a closed loop? Have I been hacked?
