Some people say often usage of home button leads to damage of the home button, so we should use assistive touch panel. Is this true?

Iam using iphone 7, if i use home button a lot(like normal daily use) will it get damaged as days passes? For this reason does assistive panel has home button? Do we need to relay on panel home button rather than haptic home button?

Will home button get damaged if we use it for daily purposes?
