homepod in the wrong home

since the last HomeKit upgrade 15.4 . It shows me the HomePod of house B in the hubs of House A. At one point one of those HomePod of House B took control of house A and nothing worked. I temporarily solved that by unplugging the internet from the WiFi so HomeKit was forced to choose a Local homepod to control the house. Everything is now working but I still see the HomePods of house B in my House A setting, so it might switch at some point.

I tried everything short of resetting everything in house B but I cannot as I am not there. Any ideas?

Hi IMac,

These are my ‘out in left field’ suggestions. They may be worth a try.

-FYI, I don’t have multiple Homes but I believe if you have multiple Homes, if you go Into the Home app press the Home icon, select Home Settings, there will be a toggle off/on for “Home Switching”? If you disable it, are the Homepods staying in their respective Homes?

-Are you certain all devices are updated (iPhone, AppleTV etc)? (Checked each HomePod in the Home App-Homepod-settings-speakers? Since you’re there try the “Restart Homepod” and restart them all.

-In your iPhone, go into settings-your name-iCloud, is Home enabled for iCloud? Maybe try signing out, then signing back in to iCloud (if you try this, be careful! have a second trusted iOS or Mac that you can get authentication on).
