I wouldn’t worry too much about malware, due to the same structure of the operating system. Stalkers will usually try to gain access to your Apple ID, which is why you should never share your Apple ID credentials with anyone.

The biggest danger these days is from scams and phishing. For instance, someone sending you a message designed to sound like it came from Apple and asking for private information; Apple would never send this type of text message or email.

Or visiting a website and seeing a maliciously crafted advertisement designed to invoke panic and fear - such as a message claiming that your phone is infected with viruses.

My pleasure! Keep in mind that personal security is a journey, rather than a destination.. it is one of the most enjoyable journeys I’ve been on since switching to Apple products in 2012.

The structure and sandboxing of a stock iOS operating system prohibits apps from reading the data from the entire system. This same limitation would also limit the damage that a virus can do, which is why iPhone viruses are all but nonexistent. An antivirus scanner cannot scan the entire phone, due to the same stock structure limitations, and is therefore pretty much pointless.

No such product is required for an iPhone.
