Two times in a text thread it states “You started sharing your location with .” It does not say their name like it normally does if I share my location with someone and I never shared my location with that person. Why would it say I did when I didn’t?

Are you part of a family sharing account? If so, are the people your location is shared with part of the Family Sharing account also? If the people your location is being shared with are part of the Family Sharing group, check out the following article: Share your location with your family.
