email - connection to server failed

My email stopped working on my iphone 12, i've deleted account and added again but still getting no messages and continue to get this message error- The connection to the server failed.

IPhone Email Why won’t my mail allow me to send emails from my iPhone? When I check the “error” is replies with the server is not responding. Verify that I’ve entered the correct info..... I have the correct email and password typed in and yet the error is still coming up?
