Since the update iOS 15.4 my Apple mail on my iPhones and iPad won't fetch automatically, as before, even though it is set to fetch every 15 minutes (push is off). If I restart the device it will work for about a day then stop, until I restart again. Is there a fix other than constantly restarting?

You may know that there are two settings (Fetch and Push Mails). What have you set? Watch the GIF below
Google, AOL, Yahoo - Only Fetch mail Option is available
iCloud, Exchange, Outlook - Both Fetch and Push Mail option is available
This has worked for me so far.
Mail notifications once again appear on the Lock Screen and badges are working again.
Hopefully stays that way!
email has been working over the last 10 days. Updated to iOS 15.6 this afternoon and the email problem is back. Receiving some notifications and not others. 15.6 did not resolve this issue.
Did You upgrade by Wifi or via cable?
Anybody else confirms this? Focus mode off will not help on 15.5, in my case
Re the IPad/point #3: Deleting and re-adding the IMAP account seems to have fixed the SYNC problem.
However, still no access to sub-directories and files
I am still afraid to updated my IPAD, however. I am still on IOS 15.3. After all of this, I wanted at least something to work properly
Mine has been fine on iOS 15.6 as well. So I’d update if you aren’t on that.
