macOS Monterey full screen app top bar annoyance

Hello,

I recently purchased this MacBook Pro 14” and loving it. I'm coming from a 2008 MacBook Pro.. Anyways, when I use apps switching in the full screen (command -> or <- I think this is just the macOS bug or something but every time I switch full screen apps the top bar with the red/yellow/green is there. It shouldn’t be I think. So just want to report this because it gets quite annoying blocking the top screen until I move the mouse over and it slides away. Happens to every full screen apps.

For example, as I just switch over to view Google Chrome (with all my tabs), this red/yellow/green button tab/bar that goes all across the top is covering over all the tabs. Usually when switching screens it should just show tabs and the page thats all.

I thought it might be a setting, and at first I thought it might be under Dock & Menu Bar / the second option at the bottom of Menu Bar that I either turned on/off to hide the menu in full screen, but both option doesn't change the behavior of the full screen bar.

Hope it will be fixed.

Thanks,

Kenneth

Update: I been using the computer a bit more and I think I notice one reason this is happening. I made the top right corner as Mission Control and so when ever I throw the mouse to the top right corner I think this triggers the top bar to appear. When I just change screens by using Command + -> or <- the apps all appear normal without the bar on top.

Yeah I tried both check/uncheck option. Both option is useful in certain apps. I think they should have the feature that allows which apps to have this feature on/off. And most annoying is when watching videos in full screen!!! Using Quicktime, VLC, or simple Youtube video in full screen is annoying!

But this doesn't fix my problem. My problem is that the "red/yellow/green" button top bar always there when you come on the app. You gotta wave around the top section to make the top bar go away. And like in my second update says, When I wave around the top right corner to use the Mission Control because this goes near the top bar it triggers the top bar to appear. BUT I noticed that if you slide between apps with command -> or <- so without triggering the top bar then in THAT instance theres not the annoying app bar.

Right now, when I switch full screen apps, EVERY single apps/full screen pages the "red/yellow/green" top bar is there. Some apps I don't need to look up there, but because most of my pages right now is Chrome pages with tons of tabs, it just bothers me that I CAN'T see the tabs right away and I MUST wave around to make that bar go away so I can see things I need.

My suggestion is if they can make the bar automatically swipe away or not show it unless you go look for it.

Update 2: I have another feedback. Again, I come from the old macOS, and I'm used to the app bar "red/yellow/green" top bar to go all the way to the top and take over the menu bar when full screen to make the app use even more vertical space. Why is the new OS the apps "red/yellow/green" bar doesn't go over the menu bar like before? Please look into adding this feature! With the Dock & Menu Bar "auto hide" on/off this should allow the user to have the feature I'm talking about above or off, and use it the way it is now. I kind of like full screen app with the menu bar there too, BUT what doesn't work is when I play a video on Quicktime in full screen the menu bar DOESN'T hide so that's also a problem I want to point out too.
