Lock iPad remotely?

Hi my daughter stole my iPad and Im wondering if there is a way to change the passcode from Mac desktop computer or just deactivate the device and lock her out of it completely

Hi!

The passcode is set physically on a device, meaning you will need the device if you want to make changes to its passcode.


With regards to deactivating the device, I would suggest reading the article thoroughly below. Make sure that you have full access to the Apple ID (and password) signed in to the device.
