Slow MacBook Pro Mid-2015

Been having some problems with my MacBook Pro 15 Inch Mid-2015 Model

The laptop has been working perfectly for 5 years. It was recalled by Apple due to a factory fault with overheating and the battery was replaced. Worked well for almost a year and then started lagging like crazy. I used activity monitor to check CPU usage and found Kernel Task was hogging 400+% of the CPU.

Tried loads of things to solve this including cleaning the fans, using Mac Fan Control etc. Did the SMC reset and the PVRAM reset. Eventually I wiped the whole Mac clean and did a clean install.

Acitivty Monitor no longer shows Kernel Task as an issue but the laptop is still lagging, freezing and just not really usable. This is my last attempt at trying to fix it before giving in and dishing out $$$ for a new one.

Here is the EtreCheck report for my Mac:

Hi,

Following article could help your issue.

If your Mac runs slowly - Apple Support

If it doesn't help, contact Apple Support.

Official Apple Support

Or make Genius Bar reservation if there is retail AppleStore near you or find local Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Pro there. As far as I know, just examine the Mac would free for charge.
