You will need a simple cable adapter, you can find them for <$10 on Amazon. For a CD/DVD drive that suits your needs please navigate to Mac Upgrades for CD/DVD/Blu-ray Optical Drive (macsales.com) to find one. OWC is a great vendor, they specialize in Macs and everything they sell is guaranteed to work. If you are outside the USA they also have international dealers and distributors.

Yes, you can buy external CD drives. I believe Apple still sells one but there are others that are much cheaper.
yes but connect directly to your Mac and not through a hub. You may need a USB-a to USB-c adapter
