i have a relatively new iPad Pro which i am using with a Magic Keyboard. i am not a fast typist, but when i begin typing a message, there is almost always a lag, such that the first 2 or 3 letters are lost (and I have to go back to retype). I have colleagues with the same problem. Is there a fix for this?

You mentioned this occurs only within the first few keystrokes, and only when typing an email in the Microsoft Outlook app on your iPad.
As it's narrowed down specifically to the Outlook app, let's focus on that by ruling out the following:

Recall it only happens with the first 2 or 3 keystrokes. Communication between the keyboard and the iPad is seamless after that. So neither of the support articles listed really addresses my issue. My colleague tried replacing the keyboard, but the problem persisted.
It appears to happen only when typing e-mails in Outlook (which is 99.9% of what I use the iPad for in terms of typing). I have 15.3.1 installed, so it’s not the iPadOS version that is the issue. Outlook otherwise runs fine. I have plenty of memory available (I’m using only 40 of 256 GB). Any other suggestions? At least two of my colleagues are experiencing the same problem on brand new iPad Pros.
