iPad laggy typing

My new iPad (7gen) cannot keep up with my typing. It lags as I type and then misses some letters. Is this normal for a brand new iPad? It seems like poor performance to me. All I use it for is surfing the web, it seems a brand new iPad should be able to handle that.

Typing is awful/ Problem with keyboard Hi! I have iPhone 14 pro and my keyboard reacts very slowly, it‘s so laggy and sticky like never before with my old iPhone. I also make a lot of mistakes when typing, false letters, completely different words. Do you think it‘s a software problem? Anyone else with the same issue?😭😭😭

iPad keyboard My iPad keyboard has not been working properly since the last upgrade. It covers the screen where I want to be typing, for example the place where I write a text to somebody. I can’t see what I’m writing even now. Anybody else? I’ve had this iPad since 2018.
