LOGIC BOARD REPLACEMENT

Hi there.

My thunderbolt ports are not working and I think I need to replace the motherboard. If eventually I need to replace it is it posible make an upgrade? My model is Macbook Pro 15" mid 2014 with 2.2 processor and integrated graphics, and I'd like to upgrade the processor to 2.8 and even the graphics card if it is posible. I've found the replacement but I don't want to buy until I'm sure I can do it.

Hi,

I think it's possible, though you should be carefully select motherboard for your MacBook Pro, cos peripheral ports place would be deferent from your MacBook Pro.
