my wife bought a new phone, and set up a new Apple ID. We shared mine on the old phone. I am trying to change her new phone so that purchases can be made on my ID. Anyone know how I can do this?

Is there a way to change the ID on her new phone to be the same as mine?

You do not want to share an Apple ID. You need to set up family sharing. Start here: Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support
