iPad Universal Warranty

iPad does not have International warranty. In fact clearly published in the warranty page direct from Apple is the following:

"IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR iPHONE AND iPAD SERVICE.

Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone and iPad to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device."

Bottom line is you can certainly buy an iPad in Germany and use it in Turkey, but should something go wrong with, you may have to take it back to Germany for warranty support. Buyer, beware.

Repair centers in Turkey or elsewhere outside the European Economic Area(except for Switzerland) won't be obligated to honor the warranty and may not be able to replace a cellular model with one that's functionally-identical to the original.
