Best to check with Apple since we are all other users here, but as far as I know: No, it may not - the warranty applies to the country where purchased. You can send it back for repair. Note this in the terms: "Apple MAY restrict......"

Your basic Apple one-year limited warranty is international - and will be honoured in most countries where Apple have official representation. Apple do, however, reserve the right to limit warranty service to that available in the country where the claim is made.
AppleCare+ coverage, if you elected to pay for this extended cover, is only valid in the country/region in which the purchase was made.
“Service will be limited to the options available in the country where service is requested. Service options, parts availability and response times may vary according to country. Apple may use Apple Products or replacement parts for service that are sourced from a country that is different from the country from which the Apple Product or original parts were sourced”
Extract from:

for the factory one year hardware warranty, Apple MAY restrict service for iDevices
IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR iPHONE, iPAD, APPLE TV and HOMEPOD SERVICE.
Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and HomePod to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device.
For the Applecare terms, choose your options:

those terms also include these possible limitations
Apple may restrict Hardware Service and ADH Services to the country where the Covered Equipment was originally purchased
The “may” in both is clever legal speak that ultimately means Apple can choose to provide service - or not.
