My ipad loses power while plugged into charge and playing a video or Zoom even though the charging icon is active. It stays at the charge if nothing is playing and it is inactive but on. It charges when turned off. What is happening?

Charge with a different wall adopter and lightening charger cable and check it.
Force restart the ipad.
