Remove automatic hyperlink when scanning a document/file/image

On iPhone, in Notes; is there a way to remove the automatic links created when scanning a document or image with numbers?

Ex. scenario: you’re scanning a credit card for financial purposes (ofc blocking out irrelevant and/or sensitive information) but the system automatically turns any string of numbers into underlined hyperlinks, creating unnecessary and random grey lines to appear on the scanned document. I’ve tried long press to see if any option to delete the link appears; it doesn’t. I’ve tried to see if there’s a way to edit the scanned document, but other than Markup there isn’t. I’ve tried sending the scanned documents to my gmail to see if the links are only visible in the Notes app, but they still appear.

So is this another dumb Apple feature it’s impossible to do anything with which renders the entire “scan document” function useless, or is there anything that can be done to remove the automatically created links?
