Spam in outlook notifications

I receive outlook notifications from spammers in my notifications. The notifications are not from my calendar.. If I touch the notification it takes me directly to an email. If I don’t touch notification and go to my email, there is a banner across the top with the spam notification. If I make the mistake of touching it, an email opens. I now resist touching all notifications to keep from going to the spammers email. They are notifications about false purchases, rewards from stores, or penis enlargement etc. I am also getting spam emails in my focused inbox.

i’ve explored Microsoft trying to find out what’s going on. It’s absolutely no help.
