wifi/apple services not working on Monterey

I haven't been able to use safari for weeks because the pages didn't load or loaded abnormally slowly. In addition, other apple services such as updates and Apple Music also do not work properly. I noticed that third-party search engines were working correctly and that if I used a VPN apple services would work properly again.

I have found the solution in a forum, I share it in case it helps someone.

How to solve

  1. Check your router configuration. its security level must be WPA2 at least.
  2. Disable wifi.
  3. Go to /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ and remove
    • com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
    • com.apple.network.eapolclient.configuration.plist
    • com.apple.wifi.message-tracer.plist
    • NetworkInterfaces.plist
    • preferences.plist

4.Reboot

Now wifi should work throughout all apple services (if apple servers are up)
